Dave Alegre is a visual artist. From daily family occurrences to the most lavish events, Dave is rarely without a camera in his hand. He is an avid researcher of up and coming technology as well as a perpetual student of cinematic art. As a documentarian, Dave is most interested in the experiences that have shaped people's lives and desires to re-tell those stories by capturing the emotion associated with it. His love for art extends into personal gardening and landscaping in which he says, "Dirt is just another canvas for me to create." During downtime, gardening has inspired Dave to be more creative behind the video camera and during edits.
Dave's favorite vegetable to grow is upo, a type of squash that is popular in Filipino cuisine. Dave is also the neighborhood lawn expert attracting neighbors on how to get green, lush grass.
